			<description>As I mentioned in the article, there really is no penalty from the search engines for duplicate content.  The problem for publishers happens when you have multiple sites publishing your article (via syndication or otherwise) that all end up competing against each other in the SERP's.  You won't get penalized but you'll certainly dilute the ability of that article to rank for a single source.  
Ultimately, if the goal is to get the article out there and have people read it then don't worry about duplication - you'll probably gain more links back to your site and ranking for a single source won't matter.  If you only publish it in one spot (say your blog) then it's much less likely to get read and linked to and probably won't help you in the long run anyway. - Jeff Jones</description>
